Pathogenic Species: Certain species within the Pseudomonas genus, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, are known for their pathogenic potential. P. aeruginosa, in particular, is a common opportunistic pathogen associated with hospital-acquired infections, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections.
Biofilm Formation: Pseudomonas species, including pathogenic ones, are capable of forming biofilms. Biofilms are communities of bacteria embedded in a matrix, and they can contribute to the persistence of infections and make bacteria more resistant to antibiotics.
Environmental Adaptability: Pseudomonas bacteria are known for their adaptability to various environmental conditions. This adaptability is due, in part, to their versatile metabolic capabilities and resistance mechanisms.
Biotechnological Applications: Some non-pathogenic Pseudomonas species have beneficial roles and are used in biotechnological applications. For example, Pseudomonas fluorescens is known for its plant growth-promoting properties and biocontrol activities against plant pathogens.

Different labs use different software to read the sample. See this post for more details.
One lab may say you have none, another may say you have a lot! - This may be solely due to the software they are using to estimate.
We deem lab specific values using values from the KM method for each specific lab to be the most reliable.
