| Sedimentibacter| Sedimentibacter Breitenstein et al. 2002
Anaerobic Bacteria: Sedimentibacter species are anaerobic bacteria, meaning they thrive in environments with little to no oxygen. Anaerobic bacteria are common in various habitats, including sediments, wetlands, and the gastrointestinal tract.
Sediment Environments: Sedimentibacter bacteria are often found in aquatic sediments, where they contribute to the microbial community involved in the decomposition of organic matter. They play a role in nutrient cycling in these environments.
Limited Association with Human Health: As of my last knowledge update, Sedimentibacter is not commonly associated with human health. It is primarily studied in the context of its ecological role in anaerobic environments.
Metabolism and Biodegradation: Bacteria in the Sedimentibacter genus, like other anaerobes, are involved in various metabolic processes, including the fermentation of organic compounds. Some species may participate in the biodegradation of complex organic matter.
Potential for Biotechnological Applications: Anaerobic bacteria, including those in the Sedimentibacter genus, may have biotechnological applications, particularly in processes related to wastewater treatment and environmental remediation.

Different labs use different software to read the sample. See this post for more details.
One lab may say you have none, another may say you have a lot! - This may be solely due to the software they are using to estimate.
We deem lab specific values using values from the KM method for each specific lab to be the most reliable.
